We manufacture steel & wooden workbenches to your custom specification. We make benches that are ideal for engineering, woodworking, DIY, or garage use as well as workbenches for extra heavy-duty industrial use. We use fully welded steel frames to ensure your workshop benches are built to last in even the most demanding environments.
Spaceguard benches can be found in factories, on oil rigs, and at the biggest distribution centres in the UK because our heavy duty steel workbenches are as robust as they come. With a minimum load rating of 500kg, we regularly produce work benches with a load rating of 5000kg.
We also manufacture wooden workbenches which have proven popular in school, college, and university workshops. We have dedicated in-house design and production teams which allows us to create fully bespoke solutions to suit any space or project requirements. We work with you to support your project from concept to completion.

Once you know what you want, send it over to us.
Our expert in-house design team will then produce 3D drawings & renders so you can visualise your bespoke workbench clearly.
At this point, you can make changes as necessary before finalising the design.
Once you’re happy with it we can discuss your preferred payment method & terms.
Once payment terms have been agreed, our skilled manufacturing team will build your bespoke workbenchs.
You can have them installed or shipped directly to you from our East Yorkshire factory.

Delivery Process
We generally use our trusted delivery partners to collect your workbench from our factory and have it delivered to you, however customers can also collect from our factory if this is preferable.
When you place an order we will let you know the estimated delivery date in the order confirmation. You will then also receive an update via phone or email with the allotted delivery date and time once this has been fully confirmed.
Of course if you have any special requirements for delivery please let our team know beforehand.
Given that our workbenches are in many cases extremely heavy and may require the use of a tail lift, forklift or similar for unloading or placement.

Absolutely, we often produce benches based upon customer sketches.
Similarly, If there is an image of a product on our site or elsewhere online that you’re interested in you can send the image or a link to it via email.
From here we can quote like-for-like or use the design as a starting point for your own workbench design.

Installation Options
In most cases workbenches are delivered fully assembled and work-ready, therefore they do not often require installation. However, if your project is more bespoke or complex and does require installation we do have a team available for on-site installations.
