In many factories the line between assembling a product and packing it is a short one. Kits are built, components are counted into bags, sub-assemblies are boxed for the next stage, and finished items are packed straight from the assembly cell. A bench that handles both jobs well saves floor space and handling time.

Benches are built around the parts, tools and packaging each operator needs, so the worktop stays clear and every item has a fixed place. Assembly areas often call for heavier frames and more tooling than a typical packing table. Our heavy duty workbenches carry a 1000kg UDL and extra heavy duty builds go up to 5000kg UDL, so the bench can take fixtures, jigs and heavier components. For electronic assembly, ESD workbenches provide the static control you need.
Combining assembly and packing on one bench also cuts the number of times a finished item is handled. Instead of moving completed assemblies to a separate packing area, operators can pack each one as it is finished, which reduces damage and makes it easier to count output against the plan.
Louvre panels hold small parts bins, pegboards and tool rails keep hand tools visible, and drawers store spares. Arranging these around the operator reduces reaching and searching.
Fully welded steel frames are specified to suit the work, from standard packing bench strength through to heavy duty and extra heavy duty. Every frame is powder coated in blue RAL 5010 or any RAL colour you choose.
Block beech and plywood stand up to knocks from tools and fixtures, while ESD laminate suits electronics. Our workbench worktops page compares the options.
Benches can be arranged in U-shaped or straight cells, with Andon signal lights so operators can call for parts or support. LED light rails and electrical sockets keep powered tools and inspection tasks well served.
Assembly work is often detailed and repetitive. Standard height is 850mm and we adjust it free of charge, and height adjustable frames let each operator set the bench for seated or standing work. Monitor arms can hold work instructions at eye level.

Our trusted delivery partners collect from our factory and deliver directly to you, with dates confirmed by phone or email. Depending on the order you may need a tail lift or forklift for unloading. You can also collect from our factory if you prefer.
