Our education workshop range covers teaching layouts, and for wet or clean work our lab workbenches can be specified with suitable worktops. Every bench is made to order in our Hull factory on a fully welded steel frame and delivered assembled, so teaching rooms can be fitted out quickly between terms. Free 3D renders and CAD layout plans help with sign-off from department heads and estates, and site visits can be arranged for larger refurbishments.
We understand that university projects often run to fixed budget cycles and tight installation windows over the summer or between terms. Talking to us early lets us agree designs, produce drawings for approval and plan manufacture and delivery around your timetable, so rooms are ready when students return. We are equally happy to supply a single replacement bench for a research group or a technician's workshop, as there is no minimum order.
Student workshops see constant use and occasional misuse. Heavy duty frames rated at 1000kg UDL, with extra heavy duty options up to 5000kg, give a stable base for vices, test equipment and large projects. Block beech, plywood and mild steel worktops stand up to tools, while laminate and polyethylene suit cleaner tasks.
Electronics and physics labs can specify ESD laminate or anti-static nylon with matching ESD equipment. Fine art and textile studios often prefer linoleum, which is kind to blades and easy to clean, and Trespa is a common choice for science teaching benches.
Electrical and data sockets at each position, LED light rails and monitor arms turn a bench into a complete student station. Bench layouts can be arranged so services run neatly along the frame rather than across the floor.
Height adjustable frames let a bench be set for seated or standing work and for students with different needs. The standard 850mm height can be altered free of charge, and castors allow benches to be regrouped for different classes.

Our trusted delivery partners collect from our factory and deliver directly to you, with dates confirmed by phone or email. Depending on the order you may need a tail lift or forklift for unloading. You can also collect from our factory if you prefer.
