The Square ESD Workbench gives an equal-sided, ESD-safe workspace for handling sensitive components, and is ideal for all kinds of electronics processing, including assembly, quality control, repair and testing. Once grounded, it can be incorporated into an EPA (electrostatic protected area).
Each bench has a fully welded steel box section frame with a durable powder-coated finish and fixed earthing points, with an ESD laminate worktop in 1200mm x 1200mm or 1500mm x 1500mm, at 850mm or 900mm high.
During the manufacture of circuit boards, components can be damaged if an electrostatic discharge occurs. Even if a relatively inexpensive component fails, it may be part of a much more expensive board, which leads to a higher repair or replacement cost. Electrostatic discharges can be eliminated with Spaceguard ESD workbenches, ESD bench matting and kits, and associated equipment.

ESD laminate worktop specification
ESD accessories available with Spaceguard workbenches include anti-static floor mats with EPDM foam backing, personal grounding products meeting IEC-61340 standards (wrist straps, heel grounders, grounding plugs and spare cords), ESD chairs and stools, and ESD mini roller tracks for moving products along the bench.
